I’m excited to be included in the first academic book entirely dedicated to this topic, which includes contributions from across North America. My chapter is on the Downtown Eastside.

The lead authors published this nice overview of the book in The Conversation:

Assistant Professor in Human Geography and City Studies at The University of Toronto

I’m excited to announce that I have accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Human Geography and City Studies at The University of Toronto-Scarborough (UTSC), where I will be teaching and researching on urban governance. I am honoured to join an amazing group of scholars at UTSC and the broader Geography and Planning Department at U of T.
