The issue of restaurants and gentrification is something I’ve been writing and thinking about for roughly a decade now. I’m excited to be included in the first academic book entirely dedicated to this topic, which includes contributions from across North America. My chapter is on the Downtown Eastside.

I’m excited to announce that I have accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Human Geography and City Studies at The University of Toronto-Scarborough (UTSC), where I will be teaching and researching on urban governance.
